ACTIVATE: Get equipped to take action in your own city

ACTIVATE is a month-long program that engages first time action takers to lead activations in their community. You’ll gain the necessary skills and resources needed to start making an impact.
What does participating in ACTIVATE look like?
- Leading a voter registration drive or petition campaign - Give public comment at a local government meeting - Meeting with your representative Hosting your own, unique, activation (tabling event, pool parties, spoken word nights, etc) - Weekly 1:1 checks ins during the course of the cohort to ensure you have the resources needed to succeed - Receive a $250 stipend after completing 3 activations during your time in the cohort.
At the beginning of the cohort, we’ll have an onboarding and training to help set you up for your time in ACTIVATE. During the cohort, you will be tasked with coming up with and completing 3 activations during the course of the month. Our Organizing Director will be there every step of the way to ensure you are supported and given the resources you need.
