The Board of Directors is the head of Youth Action Fund, making all of the final decisions regarding events, fundraising and more! The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) advises our Board on how to best serve young people in Florida by uplifting the voices of young people themselves!

Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly YAC meetings

• Review all items introduced by the Board of Directors and make recommendations

• Ensure that PRISM is carrying out its overall mission

Required Qualifications:

• 14-18 years old by July 10th, 2024

• Resident of Florida

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with progressive advocacy, student organizing, or content creation.

• Knowledge of parliamentary procedure.

• Detail-oriented

• Creative and willing to improve upon our existing structures, designs, and philosophies

• Reliable

• Collaborative
