Why We Fight

A few people at the top have gotten rich off our struggle, and they keep us isolated and fighting each other while it gets harder just to live here.

We're done with that. YAF is a movement of young Floridians organizing for change, founded by a working class organizer from rural Florida who's already helped topple school board members and mobilize thousands of student walkouts across the state.

Program Features

  • Ember

    Your first step into mEMBERship. Lead relational outreach in your own campus, workplace, or community, and build foundational organizing skills through the Florida Leaders Lab.

  • Build your organizing skills

    Learn the fundamentals of organizing alongside young people from across Florida. Through hands-on training, you’ll practice the tools every campaign needs, from one-to-one conversations and base building to strategy, field planning, and leadership.

  • SPARK

    Turn your vision into reality with SPARK. Run a 6-month campaign with a team of 2-4 and a goal that matters to your community.
